 The CRS-4000 is the latest from CRS. It provides all of the features of the CRS-3000 plus many more. The most obvious features that are different with the CRS-4000 are the large 9" backlit LCD display and an extra column of keys, giving the CRS-4000 132 key positions on the keyboard while still maintaining the same small foot print as the CRS-3000. Other features of the CRS-4000 include:
  • More than 10,000 items are possible
  • Scanning capability
  • Split screen for drive-thru function allowing the order takers and cashiers to see up to three orders on the screen at once
  • Cursor voiding of line items or just condiments
  • Buy-one Get-one free capability
  • Priority print of menu items and condiments

  • Handles weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or bi-monthly payroll periods

RS Connect from CRS provides polling and reporting for the CRS-4000. With RS Connect, the CRS-4000 can hold up to 9 days of reports for later polling. The system log and line by line transaction data can be polled for data mining. In addition, RS Connect can be used for the downloading of price and menu changes as well as the updating of the CRS-4000 operating system and to save or load the entire program.
